Inspired by this Maxine Kumin poem.
It’s hard. It’s also wonderful.
I have so many treasured and wonderful friends. I cannot properly express the uplift I get from them. I couldn’t probably continue without their varied support. I know I mentioned it in my last post, but it’s real, y’all.
I cannot count on my hands, or feet, or both, the outpouring of love.
Sometimes all I have is doubt.
And other times all I get is love.
It’s beautiful. And touching. And perhaps more than I deserve. But I’ll take it. All of it. If you know someone who is hurting, for whatever reason, and you choose to shower them with love, thank you. Please know you are the answer. Please know you are the miracle.
If you can be the blessing, do that.
